WTF on the election day,am I'm the only one?

To heck with this US government or State of Indiana,while out to lunch to stop at Applebee's,I ordered beer and being told that they can't serve beer until after the election polls closed at/after 6 PM. I did notice the local bars and liquor store being closed due to fricking election day until 6 PM.

I know that Finnish goverment sucks, but this is weird.

In Mexico, where drinking is a way of life on weekends, there is a 48 hour ban on alcohol sales, even elections that almost no one votes on. Imagine if the school board and the local courthouse was being elected this Sunday and the law said no booze from midnight Friday to midnight Sunday, how would you feel about that???
